The IM School was founded in 1991 and has graduated a class every year since 1994. Currently the school has branches in the NYC Metro area and in Ithaca, NY.
The IM School promotes healing that unfolds through one’s sincere intention and effort, accompanied by expert guidance, and in the context of human relationships. We are dedicated to helping students remember the Healer within and express who they truly are. |

Levent Bolukbasi,a gifted and respected healer, is President of the IM School of Healing Arts, which he founded in 1991. Born in Turkey, Levent came to the U.S. in 1974 to study fine arts at Williams College. He later graduated from Cooper Union, N.Y. in 1978 with a BFA. He has been a student of Shorinji Kempo martial arts and Zen Buddhist training, and is a San Dan (holding a third degree black belt). He has also been a student of spiritual healing, Rumi, Divine Mother traditions, and Life, and is currently working on a book about the healing journey.
